Project development & Project Management

It's not about doing something what you see, but about what you can imagine...

Is your project still an idea or is there already a concrete concept?

Senior Project Manager for Concept, Development and Realization unconventional - curious - goal-oriented.

I enjoy taking on missions with big challenges. I have learned to work iteratively towards the result, especially with unusual tasks.
Curiosity and imagination help me every day to quickly familiarize myself with new topics, abstract questions and formulate tasks and solutions.
I don’t see unknown components as a risk, but as a challenge.
On a national and international level.

Generalist and go-getter - always with a hands-on mentality

As an industrial engineer, I see myself as a generalist with a wide-ranging economic and technical understanding, always at the point where it is needed. It’s easy for me to take on a management or moderation role from a helicopter perspective and, at the same time, look at detailed tasks as a go-getter with a hands-on mentality down to earth.

In addition to many other project work skills, these tasks are also part of my focus in project implementation:

Concept development and business innovations

Are there specific suggestions, or just an initial idea for a project? One of my strengths is to play ping-pong with my clients to pick up on what is available, enrich it with further ideas, and, if possible, add unique business innovations to develop a coherent, structured concept with a clear vision.

Presenting and inspiring

Especially at the beginning of every project, it is important not only to convince opinion leaders, investors, partners, etc. of a project, but also to inspire them.
However, you can only inspire if the respective target groups are provided with content that is relevant to them. Creating presentations and web concepts with the appropriate content and presentation is one of my passions.

Business modelling

At the heart of every project is the question of innovation and its translation into a viable business model. This topic is often not analyzed sufficiently or is answered too quickly with the classic industry standards.

Courage and entrepreneurship, however, are precisely the starting points for breaking new ground. I am happy to bring both to the development process.

Most important part - the implementation

Realization is certainly the most demanding part of project management. Targets, costs and schedules must be kept in view, as well as the daily challenges of realization.
For me, as a go-getter, this is the most exciting phase of project management, which I am happy to accompany by passion and commitment right to the end.

Cooperations, Partnerships, Win Win

From the outset, the consideration of cooperation opportunities and relationships with partners and institutions is an important factor in the success of projects of all kinds. I endeavor to consider and incorporate both monetary and non-monetary modules, with a win-win for everyone involved.
Sometimes cooperation only comes about at a second glance.

What counts is the team

Projects are usually always developed and implemented from different disciplines, characters and stakeholders with different deployment and durations. Every project must provide the basis for each of these personalities to have the opportunity to contribute their skills with passion and a sense of responsibility and thus be able to contribute the best to the success of the project.

Opinions from my customers:

What motivates me the most is working with my fantastic customers.

Yudani Rodrigez
“Jens did a great job in Cuba. Thanks to his commitment and his many ideas, he has not only given Puerto Arte its very own character. He also managed to inspire and involve the Havana Provincial Government, the Council of Ministers of the Government of Cuba, the UNPD, UNESCO and many others in the project.”

Areas in which I was able to gain experience

Creative industries

The creative industries are among the fastest growing economic sectors in the world. Using Havana/Cuba as an example, I have developed a module to promote regions that are not benefiting from this growth.

Real Estate

Conception and realisation of various projects. Main focuses include micro-apartments, student flats, commercial properties and new/alternative uses. Certifications and ESG issues. Tasks as project developer, client representative, tenant acquisition, etc.

Service

Passionate about service, I've crafted concepts for DIY, web services, health, food, tourism, insurance, and construction sectors, serving industry, trade, and media.

Media

Leveraging my interior design project expertise, I create content for print, radio, and TV. Co-developed a Swiss TV interior design show, hosting 77 episodes.

Interior Design

Planen pro qm aims to democratize interior design, tapping into new market potentials by offering affordable per square meter rates. Since 2003, it has assisted countless consumers in designing children's rooms, living areas, kitchens, and more.
